The Moon Jays
The Moon Jays
Based out of beautiful Orange County, The Moon Jays bring the kind of pop-rock that makes everyone want to get up and dance. Fresh out of the studio after recording their EP Discovery, the band is on a mission to bring their vision to life. Influenced by soulful R&B alongside good old fashion rock and roll, these four musicians bring a very distinct sound to the stage. Justin and James share incredibly complimentary vocals along with both acoustic and electric guitars. Ryan’s rhythm on the bass guitar will pull anyone from the wall to the dance floor and Josh’s drum solos will create a place in your heart for percussion. Combined they make for an amazing live show experience and continue to bring people together through music.
Dizzy Box Nine
Dizzy Box Nine
Dizzy Box Nine is an indie-pop-rock band out of Southern California.
The band was formed by singer-guitarist Randy Ludwig in the summer of 2016, and has featured a variety of musicians from the Los Angeles area, including the talented and versatile guitarist Tony Robles. They play melodic, radio-friendly pop songs which have been described as
“instantly catchy”, “well-written”, and “memorable”. They have been influenced by a variety of bands—from MXPX and Blink 182, to Tom Petty, The Refreshments, and The Cars. And yet, the music of Dizzy Box Nine is unique and stands on its own. It’s positive, imaginative, and playful—while remaining authentic and intriguing at the same time. The passion, confidence, and optimism of Dizzy Box Nine becomes immediately apparent with the first listen.
They released their debut record, Electric Illusion, in September 2017, and have played numerous live shows throughout the Los Angeles area in support of this release. It sold hundreds of copies and was downloaded over a thousand times. Their follow-up record, Pop Fantasy, will be released in February of 2019, and features the solid work of local drummer Amos Przekaza.
Overall, Dizzy Box Nine has created something significant for music fans of all ages and backgrounds. You can see them perform live at their Pop Fantasy record release party —which is set for February 2 nd 2019, at the Mint in Los Angeles, CA!

Rapper JohnBoyCool is a fast rising star within the Compton Hip Hop community - you can see him surrounded by his peers on the cover of Kendrick Lamar's 'To Pimp A Butterfly' album; he and his Pirate GVNG crew have been featured on Vice TV's "Noisey," as a straight up rap artist he's opened for acts like 2 Chainz - but for his latest project PLVNK (pronounced Plank) he wanted to explore other sounds and styles.
"Where I went to middle school, I had a bunch of rocker friends. I was listening to Blink 182, Nirvana. I always loved the sound of drums and guitars..."
A chance meeting led to a collab with Israeli singer Nachum Peterseil (frontman for Automatic Toys, an alt-rock group with a love of all things electronic.) Despite coming from completely different backgrounds and cultures, the two vocalists found that had a lot in common ("He literally survived wars...and I have my own stories to tell".)
After a series of successful live shows, plans were set in motion for writing sessions to continue that vibe. 'JB' brought in Joey Mora (a.k.a. 'The Klassiks', a maverick Hip Hop and Dance music producer), whilst Nachum drafted Automatic Toys drummer Sir Mal, a UK recording artist with a list of credits including Pete Yorn and Andy Allo.
"We've got the rapper telling his stories; this old-school, rocking lead vocalist from Israel, the hopeless romantic from London...from the beat, the producer - they're putting in what they've been through. Love and Life and Society. This music crosses boundaries...it's for Everybody, not just this or that community...different friends, kids, your Grandma!"
The Nitwits
The Nitwits
The Nitwits are Bryson Rawn, Anthony Lavezzo, and Ryan Lowe - best buds who met while studying at the University of California, Santa Barbara and bonded over a love for playing rock n' roll. This passion has translated into the fun-loving LA based group that is The Nitwits today. With a sound that evokes memories of the loose, rollicking rock of SoCal’s past, The Nitwits are a refreshing reminder that rock n’ roll is here to stay.
