Sarah Burton
Sarah Burton
One bad breakup, two robberies, a few trips to the ER, and moving to the West Texas desert are just a few of the turns that led to the creation of SARAH’s fifth studio album,Give Me What I Want. It’s a vignette of a new age wild west with songs about internet dating, crazy exes, getting older, and that feeling you get when everyone around you is in love and you’re not. In it, Sarah delivers an unapologetic demand with a finger in the air, howling with the underdogs who are sick of getting scraps. It’s a raw and real album that skirts Americana, folk, rock and country; the songs tell classic stories in a modern age from love and lust, to enchantment and disenchantment, and that constant search for fulfillment.

Give Me What I Want was recorded in Austin at Jim Eno’s (Spoon) Public Hi-Fi studio, produced by Elijah Ford (who also plays guitars on the record) and engineered byBrad Bell (Spoon, Arcade Fire, The War On Drugs). Tracks feature Chris Konte on bass, Jason Baczynski on drums and percussion, as well as special guests: Tim Regan on keys/synth, Sam Kossler on pedal steel, Leigh Wallenhaupt on strings, Canadian folk trio Sweet Alibi on backing vocals, and Dave Quanbury on guitar and engineering in Canada.

Vealy
Vealy
Vealy is a pop/soul singer-songwriter born and raised in the Philippines. She has been singing since before she could start reading lyrics! Growing up, she loved singing Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross...basically everyone her grandma loved listening to. She watched all the singing shows and later competed in local talent shows. She moved to the United States in 2013 at age 17. She then went to college for nursing in Chicago, but quickly realized she had a passion for performing, singing and writing songs. She had acting, music improv, voice lessons and rehearsals for musicals on top of her nursing classes!

She became a registered nurse at age 20, worked in the ER for an entire year; doing open mics, writing songs and singing on the side. She even joined a Chicago singing competition, and made it to the top 5. She finally mustered the courage to quit nursing and follow her heart. Here she is in Los Angeles, a full-time musician— writing original music, performing in local shows, even busking sometimes with her keyboard on Melrose Ave.
Sophie Seng
Sophie Seng
Born in Davis, California, Sophie Seng grew up listening to folk singers and the White Stripes. She began studying classical piano at age six, picked up the saxophone in sixth grade, and continued to pursue a jazz degree at CSU Northridge. Along the way she experimented with independent groups, electronic music, rock, funk, and traditional jazz.

Currently, she is living in Los Angeles where she sings, writes, and arranges her own music. With folky melodies, classical instrumentation, rock and funk feels, and jazz influenced vocals, she brings a new sound and concept to today’s music scene.

Along with a small group of friends, Sophie has done all of the writing, arranging, recording, mixing, promotion, photo, and video for her recent release: a genre-defying album of original music.
