Black Shabbat

Flamenco-influenced hip hop!? Well, that might be one way to describe East LA-based acoustic trio Black Shabbat. Formed in 2017, Black Shabbat continue to defy the boundaries of traditional music genres. And while it may be difficult to put a single label on their sound, the trio of Miguel on the mic, Kev on guitar, and Dave on percussion produce sounds so awesome and unique that audiences everywhere are enchanted by the group. Black Shabbat have played at clubs and bars all over Southern California, and are currently working on an EP, set to be released in Summer 2019.
National Debt

The National Debt is an alternative, indie, ambient, rock band from Fresno, CA created by Nicholas Crespin (N.A.C.C.).
The band started as a folk group performing music off of N.A.C.C.'s solo album Vagabond. After earning a following the band decided to rewrite songs from the album to best suit themselves and the unique instrumentation. They began restructuring the songs to fit the percussive ideas of drummer Roman Rivera. The band experimented with different synthesizer ideas with Josh Bravo, bass guitar textures with Patrick Smart, guitar textures with Ethan Foster, and overall instrumentation until they could no longer identify themselves as a band for a solo artist. After this experimentation, the band branded themselves as "The National Debt". They recorded an EP titled "Expand, Retract" (2019), and are currently working on a full length album expected to be released in March of 2019.
The unique sound has received much recognition and allowed them to build an audience quickly since the start of 2019. They will be on tour the summer of 2019, and planning much more for the future.
