Rose, Vet, Lisa & Tyne
Fused together as composites of the First Family of Funk and the inner court of Sir Elton John, Stone is a quartet of multi-talented women who have come together to present a riveting stage show that is now accepting bookings for the remainder of 2018 and beyond.
Rose Stone is the middle sister of the legendary bandleader Sly Stone. She joined Sly & The Family Stone for the release of their breakout, game changing, second album Dance To The Music. She has sung before the King of Morocco and the Queen of England. She toured with Elton John for five years. Her career in entertainment spans five decades.
Vet Stone is the youngest sibling of Sly Stone and fronted the group Little Sister which Sly produced. The group had four charting singles on the Stoneflower label. Vet’s participation with Sly & The Family Stone actually precedes her sister Rose. Vet and her group sang background on A Whole New Thing, the critically acclaimed first album by Sly & The Family Stone. Vet has written a book entitled, Blood Is Thicker Than The Mud; Little Sister From The Inside Out.
Lisa Shaun Stone is the daughter of Rose. She is a multifaceted artist with stage and screen credits that augment her diverse singing resume. She has landed featured theater roles in such productions as Hair and West Side Story. She has acted and sang on many television shows including Martin, Jamie Foxx and Living Single. She has also toured the world with Elton John.
Tyne Mouton is an experienced singer whose roots are in Gospel music. She was in the Heavenly Tones with Tramaine Hawkins and Vet Stone. The Tones recording project was produced by the great James Cleveland. She later joined Little Sister with Vet. Her career has led her to participate in recording projects with Ben Vereen, Melissa Manchester and Carly Simon. She has continued her gospel career with the late Edwin Hawkins and the Love Center Choir.

The Musicians
The musicians accompanying Stone are all first call, first chair virtuosos in their own right. Drummer Eric Moore has toured the earth with the likes of Family Stone, Bobby Brown, The DeBarge brothers and family and the Punk-Rock group, Suicidal Tendencies. Of his chops, one professional drummer blog states, “You can’t go far on social media without seeing him. Eric Moore is on fire in the drumming community.”
Eric Young, a Larry Graham disciple, is perhaps best known for his infectious Funk grooves laid down on bass in the monster group Con Funk Shun.
David Council, keyboards & horn, toured with Larry Graham & Graham Central Station as well as being featured on their latest release; Raise Up. He has also worked with Theodis Ealey, Ras Midas, Paul Tillman Smith and Ricardo Scales.
Guitarist Wilton Rabb in addition to being the longtime guitarist for Graham Central Station has played with Prince, John Lee Hooker, Esther Phillips, The Whispers and Derick Hughes.
