Estani Frizzell
Estani Frizzell
Multi-faceted singer/songwriter, Estani Frizzell, known for her array of musical style from around the world, delivers a unique trend all her own. She effortlessly bridges across musical boundaries that range from pop, R&B, acoustic singer/songwriter, and jazz, to salsa, and other latin genres. Estani has used her talents as a songwriter as well, having her songs recorded by international artists in countries such as Russia, Argentina, US and Japan.
Completing her education in NYC, Estani graduated Magna Cum Laude from Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts which offered an intense immersion in music, voice, theatre, art, and dance. While attending Adelphi full-time, Estani balanced school and theatre by performing in two off Broadway musicals (one being the first musical written by Jonathan Larson, writer of the hit musical “Rent”). She studied dance at Adelphi in NYC under the direction of the incomparable modern dancer/choreographer Carmen DeLavallade.
Upon moving to LA, Estani quickly immersed herself in the local music scene focusing on latin jazz/pop. Performances as a lead vocalist and background singer include The Montreal Jazz Festival, Staples Center, Gibson Amphitheatre, Jay Leno, and a variety of high profile festivals and venues outside the US. Many shows followed as a lead vocalist for her own group, Ascension, and as a background singer for various international artists such as Laura Pausini and Joan Sebastian which led to a four year tour for seven-time Grammy award winning artist, and seven-time Latin Grammy winner, Joan Sebastian. Estani has written and released 2 CD’s of her own and has lent her voice as a background vocalist on countless singles.
Estani is now sharing her songwriting talents and vocal techniques with her students to provide the best preparation for the industry and beyond.
