Brianna Ibarra
Brianna Ibarra
Brianna Ibarra is a singer-songwriter and arranger born and raised in Los Angeles. She is both known as a jazz-influenced soul artist, and a jazz vocalist. She has sung in such diverse settings as Disney Concert Hall, Ahmanson Theater, House of Blues and State Social House. In 2013, she performed with The Monterey Jazz Festival’s Next Generation Jazz Orchestra and toured the East Coast, performing at venues such as the Montreal Jazz Festival Main Stage. Brianna Ibarra started creating music on the piano at the age of 6 and started singing Motown hits and Beatles tunes at 10 at her grandparents house in City Terrace, East Los Angeles. In 2016, Brianna was the arranger and producer of an EP featuring the works of David Bowie. This 4 track EP was made in memory of Bowie, which includes tracks with funk horn sections, string quartets, and gospel rhythm sections. Brianna is releasing her first EP of original music at the end of this year titled “Red Skies.” It features songs she has written over the past 7 years.
Johnny Strathmore
Johnny Strathmore
Johnny Strathmore is an acoustic pop/rock artist. With a music style similar to Ed Sheeran and Coldplay, and with a dancing style influenced by Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake, Johnny is a very unique artist who's music ranges from catchy, rhythmic beats to deep, melodic, touching lyrics.
I’M SORRY is an experimental jazz group from Los Angeles. With an influence of punk and funk, this group creates a unique blend of rhythm and improvisation that is from other planets. The group is the representation of the hidden insecurities of the bandleader Ben McPeek. And while studying at California State University Northridge, Ben apologized enough to convince the other band members Myles Martin (drums), Josh Turner (Bass), Keelan Walters (Guitar), and Jesse Seibold (Trumpet) to join the band. I’M SORRY if we have bothered anyone with our music. I’M SORRY if we haven’t bothered enough people with our music.
