Jessica Childress
Jessica Childress is an LA-based singer/songwriter reminiscent of the golden age of classic soul, with an enormous voice that combines traditional R&B with a rock n' roll energy. Since her national music debut on Season 4 of NBC’s The Voice, she’s opened for Charles Bradley, The Family Stone, Patti LaBelle, Allen Stone and performed at SXSW, Sunset Strip Music Festival, Long Beach NYE, and Bottlerock Napa 2017.

Jessica’s debut album includes producers Callum Connor (Anderson .Paak producer/DJ) and producing partners Alex Elena (producer for Alice Smith, Citizen Cope) and Topher Mohr (former guitarist for Mayer Hawthorne).
The first single, “Far Away”, was released on SoulTracks.com and debuted on Apple Music (#2) and iTunes R&B Hot Tracks. It has since been continually spun on tastemaker radio stations like KCRW as well as retail environments like Forever 21, Victoria’s Secret Pink and Walgreens coast to coast.
Her second single, “Starting Today”, also received support from KCRW and the accompanying video premiered on Atwood Magazine. Her third single, Waves, released in November 2017 on RnBMagazine.com.
Jessica has been singing as a voice on Bob’s Burgers in 2017 and her debut album, DAYS released on February 23rd, 2018. On February 27, BET debuted Jessica’s video for her single Run.

Roses & Cigarettes
Roses & Cigarettes
Roses & Cigarettes’ music is an eclectic blend of Roots, Rock, Americana, Country and Pop – the perfect recipe for the classic California sound. The band has performed to sold out crowds at Harvelle’s in Santa Monica and Second Stage at Hotel Café in Hollywood and headlined Pappy & Harriet’s in the high desert. Their music has been featured on KLOS FM and KCSN FM in Los Angeles, and Pagliaro and Petrilli have endorsements from Fender Guitars, Martin Guitars and D’Addario guitar strings.

Roses & Cigarettes, whose name was inspired by the Ray LaMontagne song of the same title, formed in Los Angeles in 2013. At that time Jenny Pagliaro was a vocalist in a local cover band who auditioned Angela Petrilli for a vacant guitar position. Pagliaro and Petrilli immediately bonded over a common desire to create and perform original material and a new band was born!

Roses and Cigarettes released their debut album in May of 2015 with a promotional tour slated for the Fall of that year. Unfortunately those plans were interrupted when Pagliaro was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer, and immediately began a tumultuous round of treatment. A year later, and with another tour in the works, Pagliaro was again handed bad news- the cancer was back and it was Stage IV. Despite this latest news and another round of new and grueling treatments for Pagliaro, the band hit the road and completed a successful tour.

Since then Pagliaro has stunned both doctors and fans with major health improvements. While she does credit the new treatment for some of the healing she feels that making music with Roses is the best medicine of all.

“I have to take care of myself and stay healthy – that’s my priority, but my music and the band will be an important part of that healing process.”

Roses and Cigarettes has opened for Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters, Jim Lauderdale, Luther Dickinson, Marc Broussard, Radney Foster, Elizabeth Cook, The Record Company, Amanda Shires and others. The band continues to open to growing audiences. They released an acoustic EP in April and are set to release their second full album later this year.

Roses and Cigarettes’ self-titled debut album and acoustic EP ‘Acoustic Sessions’ is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora and most other digital outlets as well as their website www.rosesandcigarettes.com.
