FFNTN is a group of best friends playing new wave pop. Formed in the Spring of 2013, FNTN (fka FENTON) got their start in Virginia, quickly becoming a must-see act on the college circuit. In the tradition of their formative influences — The Cars, The Psychedelic Furs, and The Rolling Stones — FNTN put on a live show that is equal parts adrenaline-fueled intensity and melodies that stick in your head.

FNTN’s music combines their live show’s energy with reflective lyrics and new wave flourishes. Their first EP, Indigo (2016), fused surf pop guitars with a Talking Heads rhythms to create the ultimate soundtrack for late night driving. Its lead single, “Indigo,” has nearly 25,000 streams on Soundcloud and counting.

The Lucid Dreams EP built on Indigo’s rock roots while incorporating vaporwave and synthpop elements. Online tastemakers featured the EP’s two singles, “One More Ride” and “Other Nights,” on multiple playlists; “Other Nights” also received attention as the band’s debut music video.

Since relocating to Los Angeles, FNTN built their own studio in Topanga Canyon and began work on a new set of songs. FNTN filters all their influences through a classic rock ethos that is theirs alone.

"FNTN tap The Beatles, 90s Britpop, and Frank Ocean for a unique, evolving sound." - The Argonaut

Dizzy Box Nine
Dizzy Box Nine is an indie-pop- rock band out of Southern California. They play melodic, radio-friendly pop songs that have nearly instant appeal. The lyrics are clever and tight, and the instrumentation is dynamic and full. Dizzy Box Nine has been influenced by a variety of musical styles, over a broad range of genres—from Blink 182 and MXPX, to the Cars, The Gin Blossoms, Train, and Tom Petty. Their music is straightforward pop-rock with splashes of pop-punk sprinkled into the mix.
Singer-guitarist, and band creator, Randy Ludwig, claims that this eclecticism is what helps give Dizzy Box Nine their signature sound. “We have been inspired by all kinds of music, and this clearly shows in our songs,” Randy states. There are no fillers here. Randy lives by the phrase “start fast”. And, these songs reflect that. They captivate, energize, and even, inspire the listener, from the very first second of the record, to the very last one. One thing is quite clear: the debut record from Dizzy Box Nine is a well-put together record with something for everyone.

I was born and raised in Long Beach, California. I am a young and enthusiastic 19 year old who has been acting and playing music since the 4th grade! I love sharing my music with my family, friends, fans and of course, Jesus. You will usually find me playing an acoustic solo set at an all ages sports bar or at a cozy coffeehouse in the Long Beach area. However, in early November of 2016, I had the gig of a lifetime opening up for Don McLean, the singer/writer for the hit classic, "American Pie," at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. Almost 500 people were there that night. I received tremendous feedback, and look forward to playing more shows in the near future, no matter how big or small. Come and join me on my wild musical endeavors!
