The Mint has been bringing the finest Crescent City sounds for some time now, including Zigaboo Modeliste (master funk drummer of The Meters) on February 5, an outstanding Dirty Dozen Brass Band show on February 13 that almost wasn’t and most recently the Big Easy was brought by Big Sam’s Funky Nation on March 26 to celebrate their new CD, King of the Party.
May, too, will deliver.. twice, and on back-to-back Thursdays.
