The Silver Lake Chorus

The Silver Lake Chorus is the brainchild of Sam Rader, who dared to imagine a world in which warm-hearted Angelenos could gather to create harmonies aplenty while wearing oversized glasses and skinny jeans. The result—a symphonious blend of Eastsiders thirsting for world domination, or music-inspired bliss (whichever comes first)—is more than Sam or any TSLC member had ever hoped for.

Besides growing its songbook and securing some hot-to-trot gigs, TSLC is actively working towards recording an album of original music by indie artists who rock our socks off, then on, and then back off again.

The Silver Lake Chorus is directed by the intrepid and nauseatingly-talented Mikey “MacGroover” Wells, with artistic direction by Sam Rader, and choral arrangements by Heather Ogilvy. Its twenty-five-ish members hail from all parts of the globe, particularly the American parts.
