Kelly's Lot

Kelly’s Lot plays Americana Roadhouse Blues and have been around over 15 years with a sound that is upbeat, heartfelt and fun. They have played at The Mint since 1996 and are excited to be working with Jed Ojeda again. After Rock City News crowned Kelly’s Lot “Best Blues Band” at a yearly awards show, the band started booking blues Festivals including The Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland Oregon, the Big Fish Blues Festival, Maxson Roadhouse and the Pasadena Blues Festival. They have opened for Tommy Castro, Shemekia Copeland, Marcia Ball and Curtis Salgado and have hosted a variety of blues events for charity. They have toured nationally and have been embraced everywhere especially in Texas for their Texan style infused songs. With the help of European fans they toured across Belgium, Germany and France in the last 3 years and are planning their next tour in 2011. They have been playing at the Mint since 1996 and are planning a CD release party to celebrate their new 2011 release “LIve from Brussels”, a CD they recorded in Sept 2010 at The Montmartre Cafe in Belgium.
