I’m Ok You’re Ok is a pop/rock band formed from some great friendships and extraordinary musical endeavors in Memphis, TN. The band migrated out to sunny California to infiltrate another one of rock’s greatest music capitals, Los Angeles. The band includes Zach Logan (drums), Tyler Logan (vocals and guitar), Chad Turner (bass and vocals), and Jeremy Morgan (guitar). From the very start of the album “Presents…”, features blazing and memorable riffs, fat and funky bass lines, melodically capturing vocals, incandescent drum parts and a sweet tinge of tasteful synth. One could compare their musical onslaught to Saves the Day, Cartel, Paramore, The Academy Is, Motion City Soundtrack, Jimmy Eat World, Anberlin, etc.
On a quest for an impeccable sound to match the band’s furious rock tunes, one of the fore-runners of some of the nation’s greatest indie bands, producer Matt Goldman, teamed up with the band to create something of a heavenly musical experience that will blow you out of your seat from the moment it starts, till the moment you finish. From working with bands of a great caliber such as Underoath, Copeland, Cartel, As Cities Burn, Anberlin, My Hotel Year, etc., Matt was well aware of the components necessary to make an exceptional album, and a more than exceptional conglomeration emerged!
I’m Ok You’re Ok has recently teamed up with Dream Records / Universal Music Group for their latest album release set for September ‘09.
They are also committed to using their music to promote different causes that include: Just One (which fights against human trafficking), Charity Water (which builds wells in Africa in local villages where clean water is unavailable for miles and miles), Compassion International (which helps children in third-world countries with means of finances for education and welfare for their families as well), and The Dream Center (which reaches out to the homeless, poor, and afflicted people of inner-city Los Angeles and New York City to help with food, shelter, and sometimes rehabilitation programs).
