has been a mainstay on the Los Angeles music scene since 1985. He has achieved spiraling fame and garnered huge critical acclaim for his unique brand of electronic chamber music. TELEVISION/Film: George Sarah has scored 28 episodes for the Discovery network. In Aug 2008 he composed music for the ceremonies at the 2008 summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China. His songs have been featured on the hit CBS shows “CSI”, CSI NY, Paul Haggis’s Family Law, the Oprah Winfrey show, HBO’s “Addiction” “History Detectives” on PBS, Chris Rock’s “Everybody hates Chris” ‘Everwood’ on WB, scored 1 episode for EWTN and performed his songs on the hit TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Three Episodes), and has had his music played on Buffy spin-off ‘Angel’ as well as in eight feature films and documentary’s including “Bra Boys” narrated by Russell Crowe and “On the line” featuring Susan Sarandon and Martin Sheen. His songs have been licensed to many networks including Style, TLC, and Spike.

Radio: A regular on L.A. radio stations KCRW, INDIE 1031, KPFK and KXLU, Sarah has performed live on leading alternative station Indie 1031, twice on Nic Harcourt’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic,” and made the Number One position on KCRW playlist. Sarah has appeared nearly a dozen times on KXLU, a live set on KPFK’s “Global Village” and has been featured on classical station KUSC held the coveted slot of Jed the Fish’s “Catch of the Day” on KROQ. He reached #14 on CMJ’s national RPM.

CD RELEASES: George Sarah has sound scanned over 15,000 Cd’s and has appeared on over 40 compilations and 8 full length releases. He is currently shopping a double cd worth of unreleased music featuring collaborations with David J (Bauhaus/ Love n’ Rockets), Monique Powell (Save Ferris), Josh Haden (Spain), Swayzak, Gingger Shankar (Passion of the Christ),
Lili Haydn and many other guests.

CONCERTS: Sarah frequently performs in the L.A. area at venues such as Grand Performances, UCLA’s Royce Hall, The Getty, LACMA, opening for artists such as Bebel Gilberto, Nikka Costa, Crystal Method, Goldfrapp, Natacha Atlas, A Guy Called Gerald, Carl Cox, Michael Franti/Spearhead, Mike Doughty of Soul Coughing, Audio Bully’s, The Bad Plus, Nortec Collective to name a few. In November ’98 George Sarah and his string trio played a two-week residency in Paris, France to consistently packed houses. He has also performed as tour bass guitarist for Death Ride 69 opening for My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, and toured Europe and the U.S. with his previous project THC and Stereotaxic Device.
